One of the new additions to the rich programme of events at the 2024 Printemps des Sports Équestres is para-dressage, with the CPEDI 3* competition getting things underway at the Grand Parquet de Fontainebleau for a great week of sport lasting until Sunday 28 April. And the least we can say is that the world's top stars in the discipline were ready for the event!

History will be made in Cremona, Italy, where the National Reining Horse Association European Futurity will be the first event in Europe to guarantee $1 million added money. Held during the Salone del Cavallo Americano on May 22–26, the event is supported by NRHA Hall of Fame Inductee Eleuterio Arcese in collaboration with the Italian Reining Horse Association, TFY, a select group of supporters, and the NRHA Nomination Program money. This event will be the first of its kind for Europe and will create incredible opportunities for riders, breeders, owners, and fans.

This remarkable achievement continues to solidify Wimpys Little Chic’s status as a legendary dam within the reining industry. Through her offspring, ‘Lexi’ has significantly impacted the sport, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of enthusiasts worldwide.

Cremona, March 30 – Emotions ran high on Saturday night in Cremona, Italy, where the 2024 IRHA/IRHBA/NRHA Derby concluded with the DeNiroBootCo Open Derby Finals.
 
The last three riders to go determined who would hold the first three positions and, last in the draw with a 230.5 to beat, Manuel Cortesi and his faithful companion, July Joe Snap, continued their winning streak by posting a 231 to win both the IRHA/IRHBA and IRHA Level (L)4 Open Championships.

Cremona, March 30 — Friday action in Cremona, Italy, was focused on the Quarter Dream $57,350-added IRHA/IRHBA/NRHA and $48,000-added IRHA/NRHA Non Pro Derby Finals where 52 combinations battled for the titles. Who would take home the Level (L)4, 3, and 2 Championships was left to the last three riders who shone under the CremonaFiere lights: Elena Kompatscher, Carlo Ambrosini, and Bo Brutsaert.

Cremona, March 28 — Contenders for the $307.500-added IRHA/IRHBA/NRHA Open and Non Pro Derby presented by DeNiroBootCo Finals were determined today in Cremona, Italy. Non Pro finalists had secured their spots yesterday; today the second section of the Open Derby concluded and riders moving on to the IRHA/IRHBA/NRHA €96.671-added DeNiroBootCo Open Derby and IRHA/NRHA €80.268-added DeNiroBootCo Open Derby Finals also were decided.

Cremona, March 27 — Wednesday in Cremona, Italy, where the $305.700-Added IRHA/IRHBA/NRHA Derby presented by DeNiroBootCo is being held, determined the Quarter Dream $52.135-added IRHA/IRHBA/NRHA and $43.636-added IRHA/NRHA Non Pro Derby Finalists. Open riders vying for the DeNiroBootCo Open Derby titles also hit the ground in the first section of the Open Qualifier.

Cremona, March 26 — The $305.700-Added IRHA/IRHBA/NRHA Derby  presented by DeNiroBootCo opened the doors to competition today with the first section of the Non Pro division. With 154 horses entered across the IRHA/IRHBA/NRHA and IRHA/NRHA Derby, the first section concluded with the first 106 horse-rider combinations showing in the four levels.

Cremona, March 25 — The $305.700-Added IRHA/IRHBA/NRHA Derby is set to start on Tuesday, March 26, in Cremona, Italy, with the first section of the Non Pro division. Over 500 horses have settled in the CremonaFiere facility where competitors will have the chance to show in the IRHA/IRHBA/NRHA Derby — open to horses enrolled in the IRHBA Stallion and Foal Incentive Program — or in the IRHA/NRHA Derby for horses not enrolled in the program.
