Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and TSF Dalera BB Capture Grand Prix FEI Dressage World Cup™ Presented by Havensafe Farm

Defending FEI Dressage World Cup™ Final Champion and world number one Jessica von Bredow-Werndl of Germany rode to win the opening round of the 2023 Final presented by Havensafe Farm. Held in the CHI Health Center Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska. The Olympic Champion teamed up with TSF Dalera BB, a 16-year-old mare owned by Béatrice Buerchler-Keller, performing to a 79.922% for the win. Second place honors went to Germany's Isabell Werth and DSP Quantaz to 77.485%.

At the Tokyo Olympic Games, von Bredow-Werndl and Dalera picked up both the team individual gold. Since then the duo has collected 21 wins. 
“The first day she was full of energy and today was a little bit nervous which caused a few glitches makiing us lose a lot of points,” said the 37-year-old. “She felt amazing and is in super form."

The FEI Dressage World Cup™ Final - Grand Prix Freestyle presented by Havensafe Farm, which starts at 6 p.m. local time on Friday, will determine the Champion.

Claiming the runner-up spot was Isabell Werth and Qantaz who closed with a 77.485. “Today I was completely happy because I could feel he was still a bit focused with the atmosphere, but he really tried very hard for me so,” said Werth who won in Omaha in 2017 with Weihegold.
