The first finalists of the Euro 205,300-Added DeNiroBootCo IRHA/IRHBA/NRHA Derbywere determined today with the conclusion of the Euro 33,000-Added IRHA Non Pro Derby and Euro 33,000-Added IRHBA Non Pro Qualifiers.

Italy’s Vittorio De Iulio and Mr Magic Chex (ARC Magic Enterprise x Miss America Chex) held on to the lead captured yesterday in the first section after scoring a 219 in the Level (L)4 and L3 divisions of both the IRHA and IRHBA Derby. “He is an amazing horse that I have been riding for the past two years,” said De Iulio about the 6-year-old stallion owned by Fabio De Iulio and bred by Angelucci Quarter Horses. “He’s always been laid back and passes on his calm to me and that’s probably the reason we’ve collected great results together.” The 23-year-old and his mount’s accolades include the IRHA Futurity L1 Non Pro Reserve Championship, the NRHA European Futurity Non Pro L3, 2, and 1 Championship, and the IRHA Maturity Non Pro Reserve title.

With a 216 score, Georg Wiedenhofer rode his own 7-year-old gelding, bred by Luigi Parise, Don Magnetic (Chic Magnetic x Donnola Chex), to lead the IRHA and IRHBA L2 and L1 Non Pro Derby Qualifiers.

The Non Pro Derby Finals will be held on Friday 31.
