When yesterday’s first-round winner, Switzerland’s Steve Guerdat, said today’s second competition at the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final 2019 in Gothenburg (SWE) would shake up the leaderboard, he wasn’t wrong. A single mistake tonight sees him go into Sunday’s two-round title-decider lying third on the leaderboard, but only two points behind Spain’s Eduardo Alvarez Aznar at the head of affairs and a single point behind Peder Fredricson who set the Swedish crowd alight with a sensational home victory this evening.

The Run for a Million will be the richest event in the history of western equine sports. Hosted by the prestigious South Point Arena and Equestrian Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, the event will take place August 15–17, 2019. Twelve riders, including some of the most accomplished NRHA professionals, will compete for a purse of $1,000,000.

It was a fierce day of competition for riders of all the levels at the National Reined Cow Horse Association Stallion Stakes. Non pro riders brought their A-game to the South Point Arena and Equestrian Center, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Following a morning of Non Pro and Non Pro Limited Stakes rein work, Open riders returned to the main arena for the start of the horse show classes.
