On the opening night of competition for the first-ever PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Unleash The Beast event held in Lincoln, Nebraska, at Pinnacle Bank Arena, one former PBR World Champion showed he’s ready for a world title run and another took a big leap toward yet another World Finals qualification when the season culminating event is held in Arlington, Texas on Nov. 12-15 at AT&T Stadium.

Now within 21.84 points of the Top 35, Vieira is on the precipice of competing at the first-ever PBR World Finals to be held inside AT&T Stadium on Nov. 12-15
With just four regular-season PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour (PWVT) events remaining in 2020, the action was fierce on Friday night for the first edition of the PBR Casper Invitational, driven by Wyoming Ford Dealers. Riders not only jockeyed for a coveted position to compete at the expansion series’ season culminating event in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on Nov. 6-7, but also a more highly sought after berth to the 2020 PBR World Finals, slated to debut in Arlington, Texas, inside the iconic AT&T Stadium on Nov. 12-15.

During a meeting on September 15, the AQHA Executive Committee considered an application for affiliate status from Deutsche Quarter Horse Association (DQHA), which served as the AQHA affiliate in Germany for more than 40 years until its affiliate status was terminated on February 15, 2020. This separation was driven by the inability to reach agreement with the DQHA board on topics of security and sharing of AQHA data, as well as AQHA’s position as studbook of origin for the American Quarter Horse.

Mauney (Statesville, North Carolina) inched closer to further cementing his name in the league record books.

National Cutting Horse Association Announces Co-Sanctioned Event With United States Cutting Horse Association

The National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) is proud to announce Cutters in Cowtown, a co-sanctioned event with the United States Cutting Horse Association (USCHA), to be held November 21-22, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas in conjunction with the 2020 NCHA Great American Insurance World Championship Futurity presented by North Texas Chevy Dealers.
“NCHA is excited to team up with USCHA to host this event,” Jay Winborn, NCHA executive director, said. “We all share a love of cutting and working together for this event is a great way to continue to grow our industry and promote the sport of cutting.”

Leme went a perfect 5-for-5 at First Interstate Arena at Metrapark in Billings this weekend, winning his third PBR Unleash the Beast (UTB) event in a row, along with Saturday’s 15/15 Bucking Battle.

In 2021 Aqha-Approved Shows Will Have the Opportunity To Offer Additional Age Divisions in the Popular Ranch Riding Class

Beginning in 2021, AQHA shows will be able to offer additional age divisions in ranch riding: For horses 3 years of age and older, the class can be offered as Level 1, junior, senior or an all-age open-division class. For youth and amateur exhibitors, options include an all-age class for Level 1 youth, youth, 13-&-Under and 14-18 youth, Level 1 amateur, Level 1 Select amateur, Select amateur and amateur. The rule change is designed to enhance the showing experience by providing more opportunities for exhibitors in this ever-popular class.
