Now within 21.84 points of the Top 35, Vieira is on the precipice of competing at the first-ever PBR World Finals to be held inside AT&T Stadium on Nov. 12-15
With just four regular-season PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour (PWVT) events remaining in 2020, the action was fierce on Friday night for the first edition of the PBR Casper Invitational, driven by Wyoming Ford Dealers. Riders not only jockeyed for a coveted position to compete at the expansion series’ season culminating event in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on Nov. 6-7, but also a more highly sought after berth to the 2020 PBR World Finals, slated to debut in Arlington, Texas, inside the iconic AT&T Stadium on Nov. 12-15.

Davis won Round 1 and tied for the victory in the 15/15 Bucking Battle, as Dickies Arena in Fort Worth welcomed back fans for the first time since the onset of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic with new safety protocols in place.

Colten Jesse Moves to No. 4 in the World With Win at PBR’s Event in Bismarck

The world’s best cowboys and bucking bulls clashed Saturday night in Bismarck to decide the first event of the 2020 PBR (Professional Bull Riders) second half, accompanied by loudly cheering fans during a dramatic, high-scoring championship round as one rider topped another, and the real human voices in the grandstands of the Bismarck Civic Center sure sounded beautiful.
As the PBR Dakota Community Bank & Trust Invitational presented by Cooper Tires came to a close, Colten Jesse (Konawa, Oklahoma) stood atop the Can-Am cage in the center of the dirt with a triumphant smile on his face following a title-clinching 92.25-point trip aboard Sky Harbor (Dakota Rodeo/ Chad Berger/ Clay Struve/ Wilks Ranch). Jesse put up the highest score of the weekend when it counted most to win the first event win of his career on the Unleash The Beast (UTB).

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The world’s No. 1 bull rider, Jose Vitor Leme (Ribas do Rio Pardo, Brazil), powered his team to the first multi-event team championship in PBR history with key support from a surging Keyshawn Whitehorse (McCraken Springs, Utah). In addition to Leme and Whitehorse, the bulls also starred in the Championship Sunday finale of PBR’s new team tournament, the Monster Energy Team Challenge, live on CBS with fans welcomed back into the arena. The bulls dominated the matchup, producing five scores over 45 points in the first half, and seven during the game.
Team Cooper Tires Captain Jose Vitor Leme got the scoring going, taking care of business aboard Sitting Bull (Dakota Rodeo/Chad Berger/Clay Struve/Diamond Willow) for 88.75 points to end the first half.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – As PBR (Professional Bull Riders) welcomed fans back into the arena to the first live sporting event since mid-March in Denny Sanford PREMIER Center, Game One of the Monster Energy Team Challenge Playoffs ended in a 0-0 tie. Team Las Vegas and Team Boot Barn went head-to-head on the dirt, but were flattened by a raucous pen of bulls, who jerked and whipped and violently flung all eight cowboys over 14 outs, turning in 10 bull scores of more than 43 points. Team Las Vegas (4-2-1) will move on to Playoff Day Two Saturday based upon its regular season aggregate score, keeping its Monster Energy Team Challenge Championship hopes alive. After the loss, Team Boot Barn (3-2-2) headed to a consolation game for fifth place. Team Las Vegas moves on to play Division B No. 1 seed Team Pendleton Whisky tomorrow, Saturday, July 11. The winner of that game will secure a berth in the Monster Energy Team Challenge Championship.
“The bull power is the same it was in Vegas,” said Team Las Vegas Captain Stetson Wright. 
“I just didn’t show up ready tonight obviously. But luckily my team rode good coming in during the regular season and we are moving on.”
