The Fourteenth Edition Of the Saut Hermès: Lativia and France Secure Victory On Day One

 

By winning the Prix Hermès Sellier, the main class on this first day of the fourteenth edition of the Saut Hermès, Latvian Kristaps Neretnieks was the surprise champion ahead of the best riders in the world, who are competing at the Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris through until Sunday. Kicking off the day, Edward Lévy treated spectators to the first rendition of the Marseillaise in the Prix du Grand Palais with his mare Confidence d’Ass. In the Talents Hermès class, reserved for the U25 riders, William Ligier de la Prade also took the win for France with Galilée.

Morocco Royal Tour Day Two: Delestre Takes the Prix de la Marche Marte

The Morocco Royal Tour Prix de la Marche Verte, a qualifier for Sunday’s World Cup Grand Prix, saw world number 10, Simone Delestre of France, take the win riding Olga van de Kruishoeve.
Thirty-nine riders were on the starting grid, but only two of them - including the team bronze medalist at the last European Championships, Austrian Katharina Rhomberg, who unfortunately had a small problem of understanding with Colestus Cambridge - were unable to take part in Sunday's Grand Prix.
