When Andrew Alvirez was just 10 years old, he used to dream to his mom about the future of bull riding.
“Mom,” he would say, “how cool would it be if the PBR had a gym like any other professional sport?”
Now 23 years old, Alvidrez makes regular trips to the PBR Sport Performance Center (SPC) in Pueblo, Colorado – a facility that’s the first of its kind to cater primarily to bull riding and Western sports as a whole.

Fabiano Vieira received a few phone calls to go get on some practice bulls over the past few weeks when the PBR was on hiatus because of the COVID-19 outbreak worldwide.
The longtime veteran, though, politely turned down the opportunity. Not only did he want to continue to social distance at home with his family, he also does not see the need to get on bulls every day like he used to during his younger years.

At one of the most significant events in PBR (Professional Bull Riders) history, a veteran cowboy from Brazil put on a bull riding clinic to win the event marking the return of live professional sports in North America.
Bucking in an eerily empty arena closed to the public in observation of strict health protocols, Fabiano Vieira (Perola, Brazil) was the lone rider to deliver a flawless 3-for-3 performance. The last two months have been quite the whirlwind for world leader Jose Vitor Leme.
Leme had begun the 2020 season on an absolute tear, which is an understatement in many ways, by winning three of the first nine Unleash The Beast events and taking home a seven round wins.
The 23-year-old had ridden 20 of his first 27 bulls, was converting at a blistering 74.07% pace, and had quickly assured everyone that there would be no hangover following a heartbreaking defeat to two-time World Champion Jess Lockwood at the 2019 PBR World Finals through the first two months of the season.
