The inaugural $17,000-added BO Ranch Kickoff closed with the sun shining and happy faces. Thanks to the beautiful and functional facility located in the French horse capital, riders had the chance to show in the best conditions.
Youth riders opened the final day of the inaugural BO RANCH Kickoff Show where taking the win with a great 141 score in the AMBTIP NRHA Youth 14-18 was Lilou Duputel piloting her own 17-year-old gelding Doctors Orders (NRHA Two Million Dollar Sire Shiners Voodoo Dr x Smart Dickory Doll). Second place, a point behind, went to her sister Inès aboard Jean Baptiste Du Putel’s ARH Lucky Whiz Dunit (Don Quintana x Style Holly Dun It).

Taking home the $500-Added A2F NRHA Limited Non Pro with a 138.5 score was Sophie Falconnier riding Harmonie’s 2011 stallion Zins Smart Whiz (NRHA Twelve Million Dollar Sire Topsail Whiz x Smart Rowdy Lady). Second place honors went to Philippe Castel and his Whizkey Coated Kiss (Whizkey N Diamonds x Einsteinshersheykiss), a 2014 gelding.

The successful show closed with the $2,500-Added CBC NRHA 3& 4-year-old Open Futurity. Setting the bar early in the draw with a 141.5 score was French Professional Benjamin Blaise aboard Clothilde Alboud’s 3-year-old Magic Wave CA3, a mare by multiple NRHA Open and Non Pro World Champion What A Wave out of My Magic Jaba. “I am thrilled with my ride, especially considering this mare is only 3-years-old,” he said.

EARL du Val de Pouilly owned Whiz Devil Inside (Reining Whiz x Norma Silver Lands) ridden by Jeremy Vandenabeele and Bastien Bourgeois and aboard Im The Voodoo Dr (Shiners Voodoo Dr x Ima Funny Doc), owned by the French Professional, tied for second place honors with a 140.5.
