Day by day quotes
“Today’s run was really good. I really liked the new ground and, as always, ‘Joe’ was fantastic. It’s always great to show him, even though show after show it becomes more difficult to meet the expectations and goals. In the next few days, I will ride him as I always do and hope for a good final!” — Manuel Cortesi, Section One L4 IRHA/IRHBA – IRHA/NRHA Open Derby leader.

“We bought this horse two years ago before the Futurity. My dad [Alois Kompatscher] has always ridden and trained him and since last January the reins passed on to [NRHA Professional] Manuel Cortesi. We decided at the last moment to show him here and I can’t say anything other than that I’m very happy about how he went today especially since I have never ridden to such a high score with him.” — Elena Komptascher, IRHA/IRHBA/NRHA L4 Non Pro Derby Qualifier ,leader.

“We purchased this horse from Kerstin Müller a couple of months ago and with him I won the World Reining Championship Amateur Senior Riders title last year. He’s a very good stallion and we also bought him thinking about our breeding program. He’s a very good-minded horse with a big heart and, at the she time, with great maneuvers. He’s perfect for a non pro rider. As always, a special thanks goes to my family, to Beppe [Prevosti] and to the whole Ambrosini QH team.” — Carlo Ambrosini, IRHA/NRHA L4 Non Pro Derby Qualifier leader.

“The IRHBA breeding incentive program, the backbone of the 3-year-old Italian Futurity, has once again proven its strength and since last year has introduced the IRHBA Derby. The result is a record-breaking number of horses entered and an ever-increasing purse. This year, thanks to our sponsors and IRHA/IRHBA Board members, we will be offering the $1.000.000-added NRHA European Futurity, the very first million-dollar competition held in Europe, and the total added money offered in 2024 in the three events managed by IRHA and organized by TFY’s Giancarlo Doardo — Derby, Euro Futurity, and IRHA Futurity — will total over $2.1 million!” —NRHA Hall of Fame Inductee and IRHA President, Eleuterio Arcese.”

“It’s always a pleasure to welcome reiners to Cremona, their second home. Last year we revisited the venue so as to make it all the more functional and pleasant for horses, riders, and visitors. This year our focus was on the arena ground which was rebuilt under the guidance of highly credited professionals.” — Event Organizer Giancarlo Doardo
