With over 42 years of experience, Latimer is widely respected for his depth of knowledge, refined horsemanship, and ability to develop horses with correctness, longevity, and consistency. His career accomplishments include: NRHA Multi-Milion Dolar Rider, NRHA Open Futurity Champion, 6× AQHA World Champion, 2× World Equestrian Games Individual Medalist, 2× NRBC Champion, 2× NRHA Derby Champion.

Latimer has long been recognized for his thoughtful, experienced approach that has shaped successful teams, riders, and horses across multiple continents. He joins ThorSport fo lowing eight successful years with XCS Ranch, where he and the team built a winning program and developed an impressive group of horses grounded in trust, co laboration, and shared vision. Reflecting on that chapter, Duane shared: “I’m incredibly grateful for the eight years I had with XCS Ranch.
