Lyon, November 2 – The sold-out Oklahoma Arena was electric on Saturday night as 62 Open Finalists competed in the $182,361-Added NRHA European Derby Open Finals. With just one horse-rider combination left in the second section, the pressure was on for French rider Arnaud Girinon and his striking 5-year-old palomino, Flexing Guns N Town. The score to beat was a 228 scored by Germany’s Nina Lil; without hesitation, Girinon delivered a breathtaking performance that earned him a score of 230 from the judges.
Lyon, October 31 – The second day of competition at Equita Lyon, France, hosted the $182,361-Added NRHA European Derby Open Qualifier. A total of 124 horses entered across four levels competed for a place in the Finals set for Saturday, November 2.
Le Pin, July 20 — The 2024 edition of the NRHA European Affiliate Championships counting 292 entries closed with the exciting $10,000-Added NRHA EA Open Championship run class in class with the $500-Added Donut NRHA EA Limited Open Championship. NRHA Two Million Dollar Rider Bernard Fonck and Arnaud Girinon both performed to a 225 score and opted to share the Championship. The EA Limited Open Championship remained in the Fonck family as 18-year-old Jody rode to a 220.5 and the top step of the podium.

The last three riders to go determined who would hold the first three positions and, last in the draw with a 230.5 to beat, Manuel Cortesi and his faithful companion, July Joe Snap, continued their winning streak by posting a 231 to win both the IRHA/IRHBA and IRHA Level (L)4 Open Championships.
Cremona, November 17 — The Quarter Dream $109.140-added IRHA/NRHA 4-year-old Open Futurity closed the penultimate day of the $600.000-added IRHA/IRHBA/NRHA Futurity presented by DeNiroBootCo in Cremona, Italy. Following the IRHA/IRHBA/NRHA 3-year-old Non Pro Futurity Finals, the 4-year-olds left their mark in the CremonaFiere arena by lighting up the evening with an exciting Open Finals. Taking their fourth major win after claiming the 2022 IRHA/IRHBA Open Futurity, the 2023 NRHA European Futurity Open, and the NRHA Germany Breeders 4-year-old Futurity Championships, tonight Cortesi and the Eleuterio Arcese-Roberto Cuoghi owned stallion by Master Snapper out of San July Jo Magnetic and bred by Giacomo Ronchi and Cuoghi left the best for last by besting the 222.5 score posted by Arnaud Girinon and Flexing Guns N Town by half a point.

The fight was on as 104 horse-rider combinations gave it their all vying for a spot in the Finals which will be held on Saturday, November 4.
An exciting day of competition took place today in Cremona, Italy, where the 2023 edition of the Italian Derby is being held. Once the second section of the Euro 67.000-Added IRHA and Euro 67.000-Added IRHA Derby Qualifiers closed with the last horse-rider combination leaving the new CremonaFiere Arena gate behind, Saturday night’s Open finalists were determined.
