NRCHA Derby Finals herd work complete in Scottsdale, Arizona

Friday, June 13 - The first leg of the Open and Non Pro finals action, the herd work, is complete at the National Reined Cow Horse Association Jack and Phoebe Cooke Memorial Derby. The clean-slate finals continues on Saturday, June 13, at WestWorld of Scottsdale, with the rein work and fence work. The top combined score will ride away with the prestigious NRCHA Derby Champion title and a share of more than $330,000.

2020 European Reined Cow Horse (ERCHA) Show Season Update

Dear Friends,
Considering the worldwide health crisis and the national suspension of all sports activities, in order to protect and facilitate all our members on both national and international levels, we took the decision to move the 2020 ERCHA/NRCHA Derby and ERCHA/NRCHA Futurity to the Salone Del Cavallo Americano which was postponed and will be held on September 8-12 in Cremona, Italy. The format of both the Derby and Futurity will be class in class for the qualifiers and finals.

NRCHA Celebration of Champions World Championship Classes Come to a Close

As action unfolded on Friday at the National Reined Cow Horse Association Celebration of Champions as six NRCHA World Champions were crowned in John Justin Arena at Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas. Through the course of the 10-day Celebration of Champions in Fort Worth, a total of 15 World and National Championships have been determined.

The Run For A Million adds $100,000 Cow Horse Invitational

The 2020 edition of The Run For A Million  will host its first-ever reined cow horse invitational during its second-annual edition July 29 — Aug. 1 in Las Vegas. The $100,000 cow horse event will be held in conjunction with the existing reining competitions at the South Point Arena & Equestrian Center that include the Million Dollar Reining Invitational.

THE ERCHA/NRCHA AUTUMN SHOW IS A SUCCESS!

“With twice as many entries compared to last year, the 2019 edition of the ERCHA/NRHA Autumn Show is already a success!” said Otto De Fazio, vice president of the European Reined Cow Horse Association (ERCHA). Held at the Palacittà Travagliato Cavalli arena, the event open to 4- and 5-year-old horses shown two-handed in a snaffle bit or hackamore, offered three days of intense competition. The highlight was, of course, the Autumn Show along with the ancillary NRCHA approved classes, ERCHA and Regional classes and the determination of who would bring home the ERCHA year-end titles.
