NRHA Futurity & Adequan® NAAC: Day 8

Floridians Fly to the Top in Adequan® NAAC Novice Horse Classes

The National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Adequan® North American Affiliate Championships (NAAC) continued today with Novice Horse Open competition.
In the Adequan® NAAC Novice Horse Open Level 1, NRHA Professional Jorge Puente rode the Sergio Elia-bred Comehellorhiwater (Inferno Sixty Six x Berry Dun It Best) to a 220 to take the championship.
Puente and the 6-year-old gelding have been a team since August and have won nearly $5,000 in the show pen together.

Cremona, November 15 — Friday in Cremona was action-packed as the 3-year-old Non Pro Futurity Finals of the $730.000-Added IRHA/IRHBA.NRHA Futurity took center stage in CremonaFiere, Italy. After claiming the 4-year-old Futurity on Thursday, Anna-Maria Zehetbauer of Austria went on to capture the 3-year-old Level (L)4 Futurity Championship and Reserve Championship.

In front of a full house, with standing space only, the 2022 edition of the Italian Futurity literally had the crowd in the Veronafiere stands cheering at the top of their voice from the first to the last horse-and-rider combination: Manuel Cortesi and July Joe Snap. When the duo closed their emotional and powerful run, a 227 appeared on the scoreboard accompanied by a standing ovation. The $216,013-Added Level (L)4 Open Futurity Championship was theirs.

A great IRHA/IRHBA/NRHA Non Pro 3-year-old Futurity Final thrilled the crowd in the stands at Veronafiere where the 2022 $800,000-Added Futurity is being held. Taking the $ 77.309,88-Added Level (L)4 and $ 39.791,85-Added L3 Non Pro Championships was young Matteo Capello aboard Alberto Capello’s Shya Shine (NRHA Million Dollar Sire Shine Chic Shine x Shyawhiz).

2022 NRHA Germany 4-year-old Breeders Open Futurity: Eight-Time Charm for Bernard Fonck

It was an exciting evening in Kreuth, Germany, as the NRHA Germany 4-year-old Futurity Finals closed the event at the Ostbayernhalle. The stands were filled with the crowd cheering loud for the riders until the very end.“In the past years, the Futurity — open to horses entered in the Breeders Program — was mostly for German riders, but this year, it felt truly international with riders from so many different countries. Also, so many visitors came to watch and that makes it a good show also for the vendors and sponsors; we are very happy about this,” said NRHA Germany Board Member Grischa Ludwig.

It’s A Win for Spain as Nogue Puig and Simple The Best 66 Claim the NRHA European Non Pro Futurity Championship

La Chapelle-la-Reine, May 29—The 2022 NRHA European Futurity held at BO Ranch, La Chapelle- la-Reine, France, closed with the $104,520-Added BO Ranch European Non Pro Futurity. The Non Pro qualifier leaders, Andreu Nogue Puig and Simple The Best 66, closed their performance in the finals with a 215 score and the $ 41,808-added Cardinal Reining Horses Level (L)4 Open Championship to their name.
