Hubside Jumping Returns to Grimaud, France, as Competition Resumes

Show jumping at its best international level is finally getting underway again! And although the Gulf of Saint-Tropez has long been the place where the jet set of the film world meets up in the summer, it will unquestionably be the HQ of the world elite of show jumping this summer. The HUBSIDE JUMPING will be settling in Grimaud, at the Haras des Grillons, for four weekends of great sport, on the initiative of Sadri Fegaier, the president-founder of the Haras, successful businessman and international rider. We look forward to seeing you on 18 June for a first CSI 4*show. Two other CSI 4* shows will follow and a CSI 5* from now until 12 July. The second season of the HUBSIDE JUMPING will bring the best riders together more than ever, if the number of influential calls that the organiser has received in the last few days is anything to go by! Located in the renovated Ecuries du Golfe de Saint-Tropez, which are now the Haras des Grillons de Grimaud, the HUBSIDE JUMPING boasts a very attractive calendar: . NRCHA Derby Champions Are Crowned in Scottsdale, Arizona

A thrilling day of reined cow horse action on Saturday, June 13, wrapped up the main event at the National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA) Jack and Phoebe Cooke Memorial Derby. Open and non pro riders took center stage at the WestWorld of Scottsdale in sunny Arizona. The top combined score rode away with the prestigious NRCHA Derby Champion title and a share of more than $330,000.

Championship Weekend may not start until July 10 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, but the postseason began on Saturday night for Team Union Home Mortgage, and its playoff aspirations will officially come down to Sunday morning.
No. 3 Team Can-Am (2-3) and No. 4 Team Union Home Mortgage (2-3) face off on the CBS Game of the Week Sunday with the winner officially clinching the final Division A playoff spot for the Monster Energy Team Challenge, presented by U.S. Border Patrol, for Championship Weekend.
The game begins at 1 p.m. ET on CBS national television.

Friday, June 13 - The first leg of the Open and Non Pro finals action, the herd work, is complete at the National Reined Cow Horse Association Jack and Phoebe Cooke Memorial Derby. The clean-slate finals continues on Saturday, June 13, at WestWorld of Scottsdale, with the rein work and fence work. The top combined score will ride away with the prestigious NRCHA Derby Champion title and a share of more than $330,000.

In a unanimous decision, the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Board of Directors has suspended the 2020 NRHA World Title race.
Historically, NRHA World Titles, awarded in open, non pro, and youth divisions, are coveted recognition for horses and riders. The international race allows aged reining horses a chance in the spotlight and highlights reiners from around the globe.

LAS VEGAS – Team Las Vegas began Challenge Day 3 of PBR’s new televised team tournament with a bang, riding to its second shutout victory and improving to 3-0 in Division A. Reigning PRCA All-Around Champion and Captain Stetson Wright (Milford, Utah) headlined his team’s dominating win inside the Pendleton Whisky Let ‘Er Buck Saloon at South Point Arena in Las Vegas with an 87.5-point trip aboard Dynamite Cap (Hart Cattle Co./Randy Wood). After delivering his first qualified ride of the uniquely formatted PBR Monster Energy Team Challenge, presented by U.S. Border Patrol on Saturday evening, Chase Dougherty’s (Canby, Oregon) momentum continued. The Oregon cowboy contributed the team’s second score, an 87.25-point ride aboard Silent Night (Hart Cattle Co./Randy Wood). The 174.75-0 win allowed Team Las Vegas to maintain their No. 2 rank in Division A. They trail No. 1 Team Cooper Tires, also with three wins, by 324 points in the overall event aggregate. Team Las Vegas will next go head-to-head against Team Can-Am on Challenge Day 4 on Friday, June 12. After a hard-fought loss on Challenge Day 1 when it was narrowly bested by Team Union Home Mortgage by 79.75 points, Team Wrangler has been on a downhill skid, shut out in its final two games. Ranked last in the Division A standings, the contingent captained by Colten Jesse (Konawa, Oklahoma) will look to right its course and advance to the championships in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, when the league will welcome back fans to the arena, when they next face off against Division A’s No. 1-ranked roster, Team Cooper Tires.

Stetson Lawrence was about as surprised as those watching at home when he learned that his Team Cooper Tires teammate Sage Kimzey would not be getting on his second bull on Saturday night.
The reigning six-time PRCA champion had aggravated a chronic right elbow injury during his 3.44-second buckoff against Skitso in Round 1 of Team Cooper Tires game against Team YETI and was unable to continue.

Continuing his seemingly unstoppable form seen thus far in 2020, current PBR (Professional Bull Riders) world No. 1 Jose Vitor Leme (Ribas do Rio, Pardo, Brazil) delivered a flawless 2-for-2 performance inside a pulsating, closed-to-fans, made-for-TV bullriding set within the Pendleton Whisky Let ‘Er Buck Saloon at South Point Arena to lead Team Cooper Tires to victory Friday evening during Challenge Day 1 of the PBR Monster Energy Team Challenge, presented by U.S. Border Patrol. Leme rode Squeeze Box (Hodges/Shuler) for 84.25 points and Livin Lucky (JD Nix Rodeo Co.) for 84.75 points, propelling his contingent’s dominant 336.25-87 victory over Team Can-Am. Alongside Captain Leme, six-time PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) Champion Sage Kimzey (Strong City, Oklahoma), three-time PBR Global Cup qualifier Stetson Lawrence (Williston, North Dakota) and young gun Mauricio Gula Moreira (Gaviao Peixoto, Brazil) also recorded scores.
