Now in its 50th year and returning to Fort Worth, Texas, for the third, the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity is among the most challenging contests in the Western performance horse industry. The event payout is expected to exceed $1.2 million with the Open Futurity Champion receiving a hefty $125,000. The action takes place at Will Rogers Memorial Center October 4 - 19, 2019. With record entries, an expanded schedule and literally something for everyone, such as horse sales, banquets and shopping, the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity is a must-attend event.

As one of two riders to deliver a flawless performance across the two days of competition inside Cross Insurance Arena, Alan de Souza (Taubate, Brazil) captured his second PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour event win of the 2019 season Saturday evening, victorious at the Portland Chute Out in Portland, Maine.

The Hubside Fall Tour: Piergiorgio Bucci Wins the CSI4* Grand Prix!

Forty-six horse and rider combinations took part in the CSI4* Grand Prix on this last Sunday of September. Eleven combinations managed to qualify for the jump-off on the 1m55 course designed by Louis Konickx, boasting sixteen jumping efforts. Although France was the most represented nation in the jump-off, Italy ended up being victorious, thanks to Piergiorgio Bucci’s wonderful performance with Driandria.

Brazos Bash Open Results

The Brazos Bash is always known for big scores and epic runs from year to year. The arena makes for on edge circumstances which in turn equal some pretty impressive finals. It is hard to get to the finals because of the tough situation, but also it has to do with being in the heart of the cutting capital! This time of year should be impressive though, the four-year-old’s are confident, the three-year-old’s are coming into their own, and the five-six year old’s well, they are better than ever. We are steadily approaching the NCHA Futurity, but there are a few big shows left before the granddaddy of them all!

The Hubside Fall Tour: Victory For Laura Kraut in the CSI4* Grand Prix

Challenging! This is how the course designed by Italy’s Uliano Vezzani for this Sunday’s CSI4* Grand Prix at the HUBSIDE Fall Tour could be described. And rightly so, as only nine of the fifty horse and rider combinations competing in this 1m55 class managed to jump clear in the first round and qualify for the jump-off. This second round, which was full of twists and turns, was won in the end by the United States’ Laura Kraut.
