Inagural Women’s Rodeo World Championship to Award $60,000 to Each Discipline Champion

WCRA (World Champions Rodeo Alliance) and PBR (Professional Bull Riders) today announced payout details regarding the November 3-7 Women’s Rodeo World Championship (WRWC) along with open entry dates and athlete package opportunities.

Contestants competing in four disciplines—breakaway roping, barrel racing, and team roping (heading and heeling) will compete for their piece of a historical $750,000 purse. Athletes in each discipline will compete for $136,000 in the main event, with each discipline champion walking away with a minimum of $60,000 each.

Women’s Rodeo World Championship To Feature $750,000 Payout

World Championship Will Pay Equal Money in Each Discipline

WCRA (World Champions Rodeo Alliance) and PBR (Professional Bull Riders) announced additional details today regarding the Women’s Rodeo World Championship (WRWC), taking place at South Point Arena in Las Vegas on November 3-7.
 
The world championship event is open to any female athlete competing in breakaway roping, barrel racing, team roping and will award a $750,000 guaranteed payout with equal money in all four disciplines. The event will also award a Women’s Rodeo All-Around Champion.

World Champions Rodeo Alliance welcomes Days of ’47 Cowboy Games and Rodeo to the One Million Dollar Triple Crown of Rodeo Bonus

The World Champions Rodeo Alliance (WCRA) recently announced that the Days of ’47 Cowboy Games and Rodeo (DO47) has joined the WCRA Triple Crown of Rodeo (TCR). The TCR is an annual bonus that will pay $1,000,000 to any one athlete or collection of athletes whom win first place in any three consecutive WCRA $1 Million Major Rodeos.

World Champions Rodeo Alliance reveals One Million Dollar Triple Crown of Rodeo Bonus

The World Champions Rodeo Alliance (WCRA) today announced the most athlete-friendly incentive in the history of rodeo: the WCRA Triple Crown of Rodeo (TCR). The TCR is an annual bonus that will pay $1,000,000 to any one athlete or collection of athletes whom win first place in any three consecutive WCRA $1,000,000 Major Rodeos. Two of the $1,000,000 WCRA Major Rodeos next year will be coupled with a Professional Bull Riders (PBR) elite series event in a major U.S. market while three TCR events in 2020 will be broadcast on CBS Sports.

WCRA concludes May Semi-Finals and pays out more than $500,000 to athletes in five days

More than $500,000 was paid out to rodeo athletes today as the World Champions Rodeo Alliance (WCRA) concluded their $500,000 semi-finals rounds in Guthrie, Oklahoma at the Lazy E Arena. The five-day event paid out more than $500,000 to cowboys and cowgirls from around the globe and out of more than 500 athletes, 76 athletes from the semi-finals advanced to the Title Town Stampede, a one-day $1 Million Major Rodeo June 1 at Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
