Azelhof Horse Events in Lier, Belgium, is the heart of European reining as the $200,000-Added NRHA Belgium Futurity unfolds on September 14-19.
On Sunday, Sept. 13, 250 horses and over 120 riders from 12 countries across Europe made their way to Azelhof, a premier equestrian center and event venue, vying for the 2026 Futurity titles.
Friday, Sept. 18, will feature the $33,000-Added 3-year-old Open Futurity and the $47,000-Added 3- & 4-year-old Non Pro Futurity. Saturday will conclude with the $20,000-Added 3-year-old Non Pro Futurity and the prestigious $75,000-Added 3- & 4-year-old Open Futurity.
The show, starting Wednesday, offers two National Professional and Non Pro classes as well as the NRHA Youth 13 & Under and 14-18, which also serve as qualifiers for the 2027 World Reining Championships (WRC). The show also includes the NRHA Unrestricted Youth and 10 & Under Short Stirrup, also serving as WRC qualifiers, along with the NRHA approved Open (which also includes Young Professional) and the Non Pro (which includes the Young Non Pro and Prime Time Non Pro).
The beautiful Azelhof arena will open its doors to all: from the young riders to some of the best Professional and Non Professional riders in the sport.
