Abbie Phillips and CR Tuff Guns N Roses target NRCHA Non Pro Futurity, presented by Discount Tire, herd work win

NRCHA fans witnessed an exciting day of reined cow horse activity today at Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas, at the 50th running of the $1.2 million National Reined Cow Horse Association Snaffle Bit Futurity ®, presented by Metallic Cat, Will Rogers Coliseum saw seven sets of NRCHA Non Pro Futurity presented by Discount Tire herd work, followed by a set of Non Pro Limited Hackamore Classic contestants pass through the gates. NRCHA horse show action dominated in the Justin Arena with the Non Pro Limited and Open Two Rein classes.

Taylor Sheridan Recognized as NRHA Reiner of the Year

The National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Hall of Fame Committee developed a new award supported by the Reining Horse Foundation (RHF) to recognize the NRHA Reiner of the Year. This new accolade allows NRHA to honor a person/entity who enacts a measurable, positive influence on the industry.

Defending champions from Belgium have to settle for second, Sweden finish third.
The Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ Final 2019 came to thrilling climax today, and it was Irish eyes that were smiling when Rodrigo Pessoa’s team of Peter Moloney, Paul O’Shea, Darragh Kenny and Cian O’Connor clinched victory in fine style. Completing with just a single time fault, they pinned the defending champions from Belgium into runner-up spot while Sweden lined up in third. And to put the icing on the Irish cake they also collected the Olympic qualifying spot they have been craving for a very long time.

Three NRCHA Professionals share top honors in the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity® Open reined work preliminaries

Day No. 2 of the National Reined Cow Horse Association Snaffle Bit Futurity ®, presented by Metallic Cat, saw brilliant performances by the top 3-year-old equine tri-athletes in the country as the Open reined work preliminaries came to a close in John Justin Arena at Will Rogers Memorial Center. Each owner and rider team is gunning for their share of the total event payout, which is expected to exceed $1.2 million. The Open Futurity Champion will leave Fort Worth, Texas, $125,000 richer upon the conclusion of the Finals on October 19.
