2022 NRHA Germany Breeders Derby Non Pro Champions Crowned in Kreuth

After a week-long action at the Pferdesportzentrum Ostbayern in Kreuth, Germany, 69 non pro riders met to compete in the 2022 NRHA Germany Breeders Derby Non Pro Finals on Friday.

It was Adrienne Speidel, who took the top honors in Level (L) 4 and L3 aboard her stallion CDC Cromed Resolve (Custom Del Cielo x Kaysolve). Speidel was coming to the Finals as the Level 4 leader, which put her in the last draw in Section 2 of the Finals.

In 2020, Inferno Sixty Six’s first foals hit the show pen. Now, less than two years later, he has become the latest stallion to become a National Reining Horse Association Million Dollar Sire.
The flashy stallion, by NRHA Seven Million Dollar Sire Gunnatrashya out of Hall of Fame mare and Million Dollar Dam Snip O Gun, has been poised for success from the beginning.

Million Dollar Watch at the 6666 NRHA Derby presented by Markel

The 6666 National Reining Horse Association Derby presented by Markel is the second richest event in reining, with more than $1.3 million paid out in 2021. Once again, the Level 4 Open Champion will win $75,000, the Level 4 Non Pro titlist will pocket $30,000, and there are guaranteed payouts for the rest of the regular divisions in the Non Pro and Open. Special division sponsors, including Story Book Stables, Colston Paving, Tamarack Ranch, and Clark’s Pump-N-Shop account for an additional $110,000 in added money.

Derby Prelims Concluded at the 2022 DT Horses Western Derby

Over the past few days, we have crowned our first set of Derby Champions, paid out over $146,000 in the Horse Show classes, and raised over $13,000 for the NRCHYA.



The prelims for the Open and Non Pro Derby have concluded, and 73 horses are advancing to the Open and Non Pro finals on Saturday, June 11th. 


TRFAM Qualifiers to be Held at 6666 NRHA Derby presented by Markel

The 6666 National Reining Horse Association Derby presented by Markel, held June 15-26 in Oklahoma City, will host Non Pro and Rookie qualifying events for one of the most exciting events in reining. The Run For A Million, held at the South Point Arena and Equestrian Center in Las Vegas, Nev., is slated for August 17-20. In addition to the million-dollar competition, there is a $100K Open Shoot Out, a $50K Invitational Freestyle, a $50K Non Pro Championship, as well as a Rookie Championship. The event, created by award-winning screenwriter/producer and NRHA member Taylor Sheridan, debuted in 2019.

Texas Rattlers Rider Brito seeks second straight PBR Challenger Series victory with 0.5-point lead ahead of Round 2 on Saturday

OCEAN CITY, MD. – As action got underway for the first-ever PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Challenger Series event in Ocean City, Maryland, the world’s best bull riders and bulls showed up and showed out for Round 1 of the Bulls on The Beach – Ocean City PBR. Setting the tone early, Rafael Jose de Brito (Potirendaba, Brazil) inched a step closer towards winning his second consecutive Challenger Series event, victorious in Round 1 in Ocean City.
