The 2022 Austrian Reining Horse Futurity (ARHA) and NRHA Show is scheduled for August 17 to 20, 2022 in Wiener Neustadt, Austria. Wiener Neustadt, August 21—Provided by Marie Klimova/International Horse Press—Held in Wiener Neustadt, Austria, at Helmut and Dennis Schulz’s Western Training Center, Saturday closed the $83,000-added Austrian Reining Horse Association (ARHA) 4 and 3-year-old Futurity. With riders representing 12 countries (France, Italy, Poland, Israel, Germany, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Canada, the Netherlands, Hungary, Slovenia and Belgium), 236 horses made way to the functional and beautifully welcoming Austrian facility. Emotions, great rides, and a participant public filled he last day of competition which saw the last champions of 2021 crowned.
Wiener Neustadt, August 20—Provided by Marie Klimova/International Horse Press—After an exciting finish in the 4-year-old Non Pro Futurity Finals, it was time for the Open riders to take the stage at the H&D Schulz Quarter Horses and compete in the 4-year-old $2,000-added Level 2 and $1,000-added Level 1 Open Finals.
With a score of 213, past ARHA Non Pro Futurity Champion, 20-year-old Carlo Ambrosini of Italy took the lead in the Level (L)4 Non Pro Futurity qualifier riding his stallion My Smart Show (My Showbiz Whiz x MS Linton Lena).
