The public at the international vaulting championships is said to be fantastic: the public in Saumur has once again demonstrated this tonight. Olivier Philippaerts (BEL) and Cataleya 3 gave a new definition to the word speed in a thrilling twelve rider jump-off today at the Longines Global Champions Tour of Miami Beach.
Olivier and his bay mare pulled out all the stops in the €93.500 class, finishing just ahead of Ben Maher (GBR) with Don Vito and Bertram Allen (IRL) with Izzy By Picobello in a nail-biting showdown of some of the world’s top international riders.
