No stranger to the Equita Lyon arena, Sára Karasová of the Czech Republic returned this year to hold on to her last year’s title and added on the Level (L)4 Championship.
The 2022 NRHA (National Reining Horse Association) European Derby Non Pro qualifier filled the day at Equita Lyon today with 93 horse-rider combinations (49 entries in Level L(1); 75 in L2; 60 in L3; 50 in L4) riding for a spot in the Finals which will be held on Friday, October 28.

Kozlovice, Czech Rep., July 30—During the last weekend of July, NRHA Czech riders met at the Smart Ranch in Kozlovice, Czech Republic, to compete in the NRHA Czech Derby. The Derby classes were open to 5- to 10-year-old horses and NRHA Czech offered Derby classes in Levels (L)4 and 2 in both Open and Non Pro.

The Non Pro qualifier leaders, Andreu Nogue Puig and Simple The Best 66, closed their performance in the finals with a 215 score and the $ 41,808-added Cardinal Reining Horses Level (L)4 Open Championship to their name.

It was a very special day for 2021 NRHA Non Pro World Champions Nikolai Stiller and his mount Hollywood Gunrunner (NRHA Thirteen Million Dollar Sire Gunner x Dun It For Missy). The duo topped the $3,500-Added Quarter Dream NRHA Non Pro with a great 144.5 score, proving their winning streak has moved on to 2022. “We purchased this mare when she was 6 months old and have gone a long way since,” said a smiling Stiller after his winning run.
