Held in a two go round format and seeded finals, the pressure was on and at the end of the day, Italian Professional Manuel Cortesi and Frozen Sven — fresh off their win at the NRHA Germany Open Futurity — rode to a 224 to top the $170.622-added Level (L)4 counting 70 entries.

When the dust settled at the Big Sky Reining Classic in Kalispell, Montana, HF Mobster became a National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Million Dollar Sire.

By NRHA Hall of Famer Gunner and out of Dun Its Black Gold, the 2008 stallion was trained and shown solely by NRHA Three Million Dollar Rider Jordan Larson. Aside from his maiden trip into the show pen in Mexico, “Mobster” spent his three-year show career with Larson at the reins.

After taking the lead early in the day, Andrea Fappani spent the rest of it nervously watching to see if his score of 225 would hold first place in the Invitational Open Futurity Level 4 at the 100X Reining Classic in Tulsa, Oklahoma. 2023 World Reining Championship Welcomes World Para Reining Athletes
