Equita Lyon 2024: Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Clash of Champions

Winners from all the medal categories from the recent Paris 2024 Olympic Games, whether they took home gold, silver, bronze, individual or team will be represented in the ring at Longines Equita Lyon, Concours Hippique International from 30 October to 3 November. No fewer than seven riders who won medals in Versailles this summer will be performing in Eurexpo's ring for the Western European League Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™’s third leg. Among them will be German rider and individual gold medallist Christian Kukuk and all the members of the French team who won the bronze medal: Simon Delestre, Julien Epaillard and Olivier Perreau. An exceptional line-up, with seven of the world's top ten riders taking part in what has become an unmissable event in Lyon. Star riders who won medals at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, experienced champions who rank among the best in the Longines World Rankings, and a young up-and-coming generation keen to establish themselves among the elite. It's a dream field for a show that will boast some superb sport and competitions.

2024 Le Printemps Des Sports Équestres: CSI5*Guerdat Takes It All

The huge crowd that came to the Grand Parquet de Fontainebleau this afternoon to watch the final rounds of the third Printemps des Sports Équestres were treated to some high-octane sport. Sport at its best. For the teams from GL events Equestrian Sport, the organiser of the event, this week of competitions served as operational preparation for the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games, for which it will be responsible in a few weeks' time. And, as a fitting conclusion to the week, the GL events Grand Prix CSI 5* kept the thousands of spectators on the edge of their seats.

2024 Le Printemps des Sports Équestres: Touzaint Tops the CCI 3*-S

Having already taken the lead in the rankings after the dressage and cross-country tests, France's Nicolas Touzaint won the first the CCI 3*-S competition of the Printemps des Sports Equestres at the Grand Parquet de Fontainebleau. Riding his nine-year-old Fibonacci de Lessac*HDC, the 2004 Olympic team champion and Tokyo Olympic team bronze medallist produced a perfect performance in the show jumping test, leaving his rivals with no chance. And particularly Thomas Carlile, who managed to complete a clear round in the show jumping with Darmagnac de Béliard, thereby retaining his second place in the rankings. Third place also went to Nicolas Touzaint, this time riding Gauguin du Busson, with another a clear round.

It’s Longines League of Nations™ Time at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, USA

Today the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, FL, will play host to an amazing group of athletes — which include eight of the top ten and fifteen of the top twenty riders in the world rankings — competing in the second leg of the inaugural Longines League of Nations™.

Fuchs Tops the $330,000 Lugano Diamonds Grand Prix CSIO5* At World Equestrian Center, Ocala

Martin Fuchs (SUI) emerged victorious from a star-studded field to win the $330,000 Lugano Diamonds Grand Prix CSIO5* on Thursday, March 21, at World Equestrian Center – Ocala (WEC) in Ocala, FL.The best Jumping athletes in the world have converged at WEC – Ocala to contest the four-day Longines League of Nations™ event. Thursday’s featured competition saw 49 entries come forward to try their luck over the track set by Irish course designer Alan Wade. The clock proved to be just as challenging as the course itself, with five riders clearing all the obstacles only to pick up time faults for exceeding the 80-second time allowed.’

Julien Anquetin Triumphs In the Grand Prix Hermès

Epic sport and a showstopping spectacle raise the roof of the Grand Palais Éphémère. At the end of a very intense class with the world’s elite riders, Frenchman Julien Anquetin secures victory in the Grand Prix Hermès with the gelding Blood Diamond Du Pont, the finest victory of his career. 32 years of age, he finishes ahead of compatriot Julien Épaillard, world No.4, considered by one and all as the fastest rider in the world, riding Donatello d’Auge. He succeeds the rider from Luxembourg, Victor Bettendorf, winner of the Grand Prix Hermès 2023. Colombian Rene Lopez Lizarazo, based in north-east France for nearly four decades, completes the podium.

Saut Hermès Saturday Action: Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli and Simon Delestre are Grand Champions

The spectators gathered at the Grand Palais Éphémère witnessed a marvellous spectacle this Saturday with sport taking centre stage. Swedish rider Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli brought the crowd to their feet by securing victory in the Saut Hermès, scooping the second biggest prize of the competition riding her mare Kalinka van de Nachtegaele. On Sunday at 15:30 hours, she will rediscover the world’s top riders in the Grand Prix Hermès, the grand finale of the competition.

The Fourteenth Edition Of the Saut Hermès: Lativia and France Secure Victory On Day One

By winning the Prix Hermès Sellier, the main class on this first day of the fourteenth edition of the Saut Hermès, Latvian Kristaps Neretnieks was the surprise champion ahead of the best riders in the world, who are competing at the Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris through until Sunday. Kicking off the day, Edward Lévy treated spectators to the first rendition of the Marseillaise in the Prix du Grand Palais with his mare Confidence d’Ass. In the Talents Hermès class, reserved for the U25 riders, William Ligier de la Prade also took the win for France with Galilée.

Ten years of the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping: A Tribute To Steve Guerdat

A tribute to Steve Guerdat: To mark the tenth anniversary of the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping (RGS), CHI Geneva will hold a ceremony in honour of Steve Guerdat on the Saturday evening of this year’s event.

The organisers of the four prestigious Majors that make up the RGS were quick to agree to pay tribute to the Swiss rider in a special ceremony, to be held at Palexpo at 21:10 on Saturday 9 December. The winner of four Major events – three of them coming since the creation of the RGS in 2013 – Guerdat is the only rider to compete at every Major in the last ten years, appearing at 34 events out of 34 in that time.

Morocco Royal Tour: Gaudiano Takes the Grand Prix of Tétouan s.a.r Le Prince Heritier Moulay El Hassan

Italy's Emanuele Gaudiano, one of Morocco Royal Tour's most loyal riders, has won a respectable number of classes in Tetouan over the last ten years (as last Thursday and Friday with Jaja), but he has never won the Grand Prix. This is now the case, thanks to his powerful 10-year-old Belgian stallion Nikolaj de Music.

It's a double two-peat for Simon Delestre who won the same Prix de Dakhla last year and who repeated this victory on Saturday evening in Tetouan with Olga van de Kruishoeve, the mare with whom he triumphed yesterday in the Prix de La Marche Verte.
