On Top of the World!

The need for international team and individual competition was much felt by the reining community worldwide at all levels. A group of passionate enthusiasts got together and formed World Reining hoping to satisfy this need. NRHA Two Million Dollar Owner Corinna Schumacher and her CS Ranch team gave their availability to host and organize the inaugural NRHA-approved World Reining Championship event with Euro 150.000 offered in prize money and the response was huge.

2023 DeNiroBootsCo Euro 66.000-Added IRHA/IRHBA Non Pro Derby: De Iulio and Mr Magic Chex Work Their Magic To Claim the IRHA and IRHBA Non Pro Derby Titles

The first Champions of the Euro 205,200-Added IRHA/IRHBA Derby presented by DeNiroBootsCo were crowned in the renewed CremonaFiere Reining Pavilion in Cremona, Italy.

In a field of 52 horse-rider combinations across the four levels of the Non Pro Derby Finals, 23-year-old Vittorio De Iulio and Mr Magic Chex (ARC Magic Enterprise x Miss America Chex) closed their great performance with a 221.5 score taking home the Euro 21.000-Added IRHA L4 and Euro 21.000-Added IRHBA L4. They also left Cremona with the Euro 6.000-Added IRHA L3, and Euro 6.000-Added IRHBA L3 titles under their belt.

First 2023 DeNiroBootCo IRHA/IRHBA/NRHA Derby Finalists Determined

The first finalists of the Euro 205,300-Added DeNiroBootCo IRHA/IRHBA/NRHA Derbywere determined today with the conclusion of the Euro 33,000-Added IRHA Non Pro Derby and Euro 33,000-Added IRHBA Non Pro Qualifiers.

Italy’s Vittorio De Iulio and Mr Magic Chex (ARC Magic Enterprise x Miss America Chex) held on to the lead captured yesterday in the first section after scoring a 219 in the Level (L)4 and L3 divisions of both the IRHA and IRHBA Derby. “He is an amazing horse that I have been riding for the past two years,” said De Iulio about the 6-year-old stallion owned by Fabio De Iulio and bred by Angelucci Quarter Horses. “He’s always been laid back and passes on his calm to me and that’s probably the reason we’ve collected great results together.” The 23-year-old and his mount’s accolades include the IRHA Futurity L1 Non Pro Reserve Championship, the NRHA European Futurity Non Pro L3, 2, and 1 Championship, and the IRHA Maturity Non Pro Reserve title.

The curtain rose today on the Euro 205,200-Added DeNiroBootCo 2023 IRHA/IRHBA/NRHA Derby open to 4-, 5-, 6-, 7-, and 8-year-old horses. The new layout, built under the guidance of Event Director and TFY Executive Director Giancarlo Doardo at CremonaFiere in Cremona, Italy, welcomed close to 450 horses, and over 300 horses entered in the Derby.

NRHA European Futurity Non Pro Champions: Blessing and Smart Spook Surprise Leave the Best for Last

The $340,214-added 2021 NRHA European Futurity concluded in Cremona, Italy, with the Non Pro Futurity Finals on Sunday. With 27 finalists looking for the perfect score and the Championship titles across the four levels, two riders wrote their names on top of the final rankings: Stephanie Blessing and Vittorio De Iulio.

After an exciting Saturday evening featuring the NRHA European Open Futurity Finals, the action in Cremona shifted gears to focus on the 3-year-old rising reining stars. The $136,083-added Italian Reining Horse Association (IRHA)/IRHBA (International Reining Horse Breeder Association) /NRHA (National Reining Horse Association) Non Pro Futurity qualifier saw two young Italian riders take the lead in the competition.
