  • 2020 All American Quarter Horse Congress to Host
Two Draw-Based Youth Competitions

    For the first time, The Ohio Quarter Horse Association (OQHA) is proud to announce that the All American Quarter Horse Congress (AAQHC) will host two separate Western youth draw-based competitions beginning with the Youth Equestrian Development Association (YEDA) on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 and Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) on Thursday, October 8, 2020 in Columbus, Ohio.

    With this partnership, OQHA will cross-promote with YEDA and IEA in a variety of methods that will benefit all three organizations to reach their goals.

    High-point standings for 2019 are finalized and the all-around high-point horses and exhibitors are named.

    The American Quarter Horse Association recognizes hardworking individuals and their American Quarter Horses at the end of each year through the Association’s high-point awards.

  • AQHA Cancels VRH World, RHC Finals, Cattle Level 1 and NRSHA National Championships

    AQHA cancels the AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse World Championships, AQHA Ranching Heritage Challenge Finals, AQHA Cattle Level 1 Championships and National Ranch and Stock Horse Alliance National Championships set for June for the safety of exhibitors, spectators and staff.

    The American Quarter Horse Association has made the decision to cancel the AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse World Championships, AQHA Ranching Heritage Challenge Finals, AQHA Cattle Level 1 Championships, and National Ranch and Stock Horse Alliance National Championships scheduled for June 23-27 at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
