Kreuth, October 24—By International Horse Press—Nadia Schieder entered the pen as the last competitor in the finals aboard her gelding RM Spooksgottastar (NRHA Three Million Dollar Sire Spooks Gotta Whiz x Starmax Rm). After winning all four levels of the go round with a 215 score, Schieder did not expect to do even better in the Finals, so she was very excited about her run which she closed with a 218.5: “I am just so happy. I have never had the opportunity to ride such a good horse. He was bred by our friend [Massimo Rudari] and trained by my husband [Italian Professional Max Ruggeri] from the beginning for our clients and about a month ago they decided to sell him, so we purchased him and it was the best choice in a long time.” The Italian rider shared that when she went to his stall before the run, the horse neighed at her. “That was a sign…after the run, I told my husband ‘now he is a true non pro horse,’” said the smiling Champion after claiming the titles in all four levels. Schieder next plans to show her horse in Cremona, Italy at the Italian Reining Horse Futurity, and then she will give him a long winter break surely deserves.

Fabian Strebel scored a 216.5, aboard M Snow Pearl (SG Frozen Enterprize x Spooks Pearl) to earn the Non Pro Reserve Championship in the Level (L)4 and 2.

The L1 Non Pro Reserve Championship belongs to Tom De Boever after tonight, who rode Spookin Riccochet (Ricochet Rooster x Spool Pop Chex) to a score of 214.5.

Georgia Wilk & Pretty Whiz Chic

Part of the 4-year-old Futurity Finals was also the second Go for the Youth Futurity. It was Georgia Wilk riding Pretty Whiz Chic (Winnie the Boo x Rey Nic Chic), who took the Youth Futurity Championship title scoring a composite of 418 (206.5; 211.5).

The talented youth rider was pleased with her results tonight: “I’m blessed to ride this horse. She is not easy, but she is sweet in the show pen, so I was happy with her today. We had a lot of bobbles in the first go, so I am glad that we put everything together for the second go. I had to switch the preparation plan here in Kreuth because we realized it wasn’t working for my mare, so I just let her do her thing and it worked out. I guess she had her own plan,” laughed Wilk.
