The National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) proudly announces Spooks Gotta Whiz as its newest $15 Million Sire, another landmark achievement for a stallion whose influence continues to be felt at the highest levels of reining.

The 2007 stallion, by Spooks Gotta Gun and out of Prettywhizprettydoes, is owned by Michell Anne Kimball and was bred by NRHA Professional Clint Haverty. Before establishing himself as one of the industry’s most influential sires, Spooks Gotta Whiz built an impressive show record of his own, earning $345,138 in NRHA Lifetime Earnings (LTE).

Now, his offspring have surpassed $15 million in NRHA LTE—and the milestone comes as his sons and daughters continue to fill finals, contend for championships and earn some of the sport’s biggest paychecks.

That influence was especially evident at the 2026 6666 NRHA Derby^® presented by Markel. Of the 36 horse-and-rider combinations advancing to the Level 4 Open Derby Finals, nine were offspring of Spooks Gotta Whiz—the most of any sire represented in the final. The story was the same on the Non Pro side, where nine of the 33 Level 4 Non Pro finalists were by Spooks Gotta Whiz, again making him the most represented sire.

Just weeks later, his impact carried onto another of reining’s biggest stages. At the 2026 The Run For A Million, five of the 16 horses competing were offspring of Spooks Gotta Whiz. Together, they earned $114,750.

Leading Spooks Gotta Whiz’s offspring by NRHA LTE is Mic Dropp (out of Dun Dry Whiz), with $352,224. Owned by Tim Anderson and Clark Reining Horses LLC and bred and nominated by Clark Reining Horses LLC, Mic Dropp has been a consistent presence among the sport’s elite with NRHA $10 Million Rider Andrea Fappani. His accomplishments include the 2023 100X Reining Classic Level 4 Reserve Championship, where a 231 earned $100,000, and a third-place finish at the 2024 The Run For A Million, where he marked a 227.5 to earn $90,000.

Alpha Jac Sparrow (out of Chexanicki) follows with $344,411 in NRHA LTE. Owned by Fritz Leeman and bred and nominated by Alpha Quarter Horses LLC, Alpha Jac Sparrow earned $45,000 with a 227.5 and third-place finish at the 2023 National Reining Breeders Classic. With NRHA $8 Million Rider Shawn Flarida, he also captured the 2022 High Roller Reining Classic The Stakes Club 4-Year-Old Level 4 Championship, marking a 224.5 to earn $37,726.

With $301,415 in NRHA LTE, Outta Yur League (out of Shesouttayourleague) has added to the stallion’s legacy on some of reining’s most prominent stages. Owned by Theorem Performance Horses LLC and bred and nominated by Curtis Performance Horses LLC, the buckskin stallion most recently marked a 229 at the 2026 The Run For A Million, finishing eighth and earning $32,000. With Cade McCutcheon, Outta Yur League also finished fourth at the 2024 NRHA Futurity® with a 225, earning $95,710, and claimed the 2024 All American Quarter Horse Congress Championship and $50,000.

Smoky Mountain Rein (out of Sprats Electricspark) has amassed $262,537 in NRHA LTE while becoming a force in the Non Pro ranks with Kim Muehlstaetter. Now owned by Ranch Oso Rio LLC, and bred and nominated by Texas Horse Power Ranch LLC, Smoky Mountain Rein captured the 2025 NRBC Level 4 Non Pro Championship and $50,000. The pair also won back-to-back NRHA Level 4 Non Pro Derby Championships, marking a 227.5 in 2024 to earn $32,697 and a 225.5 in 2025 to earn $32,854.

Rounding out his five highest-earning offspring is Picture Perrfect (out of Isnt She Perfect), with $255,169 in NRHA LTE. Owned by Ronald Anderson and bred and nominated by Amy Medows, Picture Perrfect and Kole Price earned the 2024 NRHA Level 4 Open Futurity Reserve Championship after marking a 228 and collecting $150,000. The pair followed that performance with a fourth-place finish in the 2025 NRBC Level 4 Open, marking a 224.5 and earning $35,750.

The $15 million milestone places Spooks Gotta Whiz among an elite group of sires whose influence has helped shape generations of reining horses. But perhaps even more telling than the number itself is when the milestone has arrived.

His offspring are not simply adding to a lifetime total—they remain among the most heavily represented and competitive horses in today’s biggest events. From Open to Non Pro competition, the NRHA Derby^® to The Run For A Million, the influence of Spooks Gotta Whiz continues to show up where the stakes are highest.

With $15 million now behind his name and another generation of offspring continuing to add to that total, Spooks Gotta Whiz’s impact on the sport is still being written.
