Cremona, Nov. 5—On Friday, November 6, the 42nd edition of the IRHA-IRHBA-NRHA Reining Futurity & Italian Championship® will officially get underway at CremonaFiere in Cremona, Italy. Organized by Giancarlo Doardo’s TFY,Europe’s most prestigious reining events will feature the 3- and 4-year-old IRHA/IRHBA/NRHA Futurities, the FISE Italian Reining Championship and Para Reining Finals, alongside the NCHA European Cutting Futurity and the Round Up Country Festival.
With over 700 horses stabled at the venue and riders representing more than 20 countries, the stage is set for an exciting week of competition. The first horse-and-rider combinations to enter the Quarter Horse oval arena will compete in the $175,000-Added 4-year-old Open Futurity Qualifier. A field of 121 combinations (56 entries in Level (L)4, 69 in L3, 78 in L2, and 36 in L1) will vie for a spot in the Finals on Friday, November 13.
Nonstop reining action will culminate on Saturday, November 14, with the $397,890-Added 3-year-old Open Futurity Finals. As Europe’s largest reining Futurity unfolds, cutting competition and country line dancing will add to the excitement, offering something for everyone.
