Day two of The Run For A Million presented by Teton Ridge showcased non pro riders with the $50,000 Added Non Pro Championships. After 67 riders slid, spun and circled their way through the South Point Arena, it was Luca Fappani riding Icecube and Anna Clausen aboard Smart Tinseltown who came out on top with a score of 221.5 tying to share the title and $30,179.

Provided by Austrian Reinin Futurity Press Release - The well deserved high score in the Non Pro Futurity Go round of the 4 year old horses was 216 set by Valentina Monti and her Valentina Baby Pale (Pale Face Dunnit x OT Luky Highway Baby). This means the superior lead in all four levels! The two seamlessly followed up their huge success at the IRHA Futurity in May 2021, where Monti became Non Pro Futurity Co-Reserve Champion L4 and Champion in L3, 2 and 1.

The 2021 Run For A Million presented by Teton Ridge kicked off August 18 with a stacked field of competitors riding for a title in the Bloomer Trailers Rookie Championships. Held at the South Point Arena and Equestrian Center in Las Vegas, the event saw 93 competitors ride through the pen. Though a high score was marked almost immediately from draw six, it was draw 91, Kalicia Walters, who ultimately took home the title, riding Pale Faced Whiz to a 215.5 for the win. The pair banked $1,009.

Giovanni Masi & Nico Sicuro Lead ARHA 4-Year-Old L4 Open Futurity Go Round, Jonas Bujnoch Dominates Levels 3, 2 and 1

57 horses were entered in the four levels of the Austrian Reining Horse Association (ARHA) Open Futurity Go rounds for four-year-old horses. In the L4, the top 18 horses advanced to the final, for which a score of at least 212.5 had to be achieved. And the top rides were very close together. Nico Sicuro aboard Dance Wimpy Spook (Wimpys Little Step x Dance Little Spook) and Giovanni Masi de Vargas aboard La La Boom (Remins Remedy X Boomax Rm) took the lead scoring a 217.5 each.

Sarah Stocker & Colonels Charmingun dominate Non Pro Futurity Go round, 3- year- old horses
The Futurity classes started with the Non Pro Go round of the 3 year olds, in which 28 horses were entered in the four levels. Here, Austrian Sarah Stocker and her Colonels Charmingun made it to the top in all levels scoring a 210.5. The palomino is by Shiners Voodoo Dr out of Okie Smokin Gun and was bred by Ludivine Collon in France.
"I bought him last year in December as a 2-year-old," said Sarah, who has trained with Rudi Kronsteiner since 2018. "In the Go Round he was well-behaved, listened superbly and just did his job. Now I'm looking forward to the final." Sarah was already an Austrian Reining Futurity finalist L1 to 4 Non Pro of 4-year-olds two years ago.

Impressive performances at the North American Reining Stakes unofficially catapulted National Reining Horse Association Owner Smart Like Juice Inc. past $2 million in earnings.

Prior to the event, the entity was less than $3,000 away from that milestone. Jose Vazquez, the man behind Smart Like Juice, Inc., piloted Mr Chexy Dream and Smartgals Like Juice to more than $8,300 in prize money in the North American Reining Stakes and Leonard Trailer Non Pro Derbies.

Wiener Neustadt, July 3–The $112,700-added Colonels Shining Gun NRHA European Open Derby finals closed the 2020 edition of the European event.
 
Draw #4 in the second section, Nico Sicuro and Quarter Dream’s Colonels Dancing Gun set the bar by scoring a 221.5. Twenty horses later, their score held, securing the $45,000-added Level (L)4 European Derby Open Championship as well as the $24.300 paycheck for first place.
