Merck Animal Health Breakaway Roping Presented by Kimes Ranch
We will be starting the morning in the Merck Arena with the Breakaway Roping competition presented by Kimes Ranch at 9AM. The finals will take place at 5:30 PM in the Merck Arena also.
Don’t miss Art of the Cowgirl 2024 Elite
Our Elite Horse Sale will take place tomorrow, Saturday January 20th at 2PM in the Merck Arena. We will have a sale preview today starting at 9AM in the Kimes Arena. At 1PM we will have a Horse Sale Team Roping preview in the Wrangler Arena. Tomorrow at 9AM there will be another Sale Preview in the Kimes Arena.

Calling All Kids
Saturday is our family day! We will have so many fun activities for you as a family. Our Youth Dummy Roping will take place in the Cowkid Corral at 12PM tomorrow!
Paint and Sip
There are only a few spots in our Maker Experience: Paint and Sip Class. This class will take place today from 1 – 3 PM. It will be taught by Master Artist Lisa Norman. You will be walked through the process of painting “Reflections of Freedom” in acrylics. We will walk through each step from the initial background gradation, add perspective with mountain ranges coming forward, and the final beautiful silhouette of a horse running free along a still lake. You will have a template available to sketch the horse, or you can try your hand at freehand sketching. Either way we welcome any age/ability. No experience necessary.
Canvas, acrylic paint, paintbrushes, easel, aprons, paper towel and palette provided.
